Quick fixes
Blocking is not working on iPhone
Open Settings → Apps → Phone → Call Blocking & Identification and turn on Kansel. If it is already on, switch it off and on again, then open Kansel and tap “Update”. Remember that iOS always lets calls from your saved contacts through, and on iOS 26 also from numbers you called yourself: delete your calls to that number from Recents and it is blocked again.
Blocking is not working on Android
Open Kansel → Protection and make sure Kansel is set as your call-screening app (Settings → Apps → Default apps → Caller ID & spam app). If you use another caller-ID app, note that Android only allows one at a time.
The list is not updating
The list refreshes in the background once a day. You can refresh it manually with the “Update” button on the home screen. If that fails, check your connection and make sure battery saver is not stopping Kansel from running in the background.
Auto-block is not working
Auto-block is something you switch on: open Kansel → Protection and turn on “Auto-block”. The first time, it asks you to sign in with Apple or Google. If it was on and stopped, open the app while you are online so it can renew.
A legitimate number was blocked or flagged
If the number is on your personal list, remove it from “My list”. If it is on the community list, its owner can submit a request on the appeal page.
I want to delete my account
Inside the app: Settings → Account → Delete account. Full details are on the delete account page.
